The Scouts and Guides of St Dominic School, Garobadha during the Scout and Guide Training at Ampati.
A contingent of 45 Scouts and Guides from St. Dominic High School, Garobadha, is actively participating in the Scouts and Guides Training Course held at Ampati, the district headquarters of South West Garo Hills. The course, which began on July 16, 2025, is a district-level initiative aimed at nurturing discipline, leadership, and teamwork among the youth.
The school’s Principal, Fr. Punit Kumar Lakra SDB, expressed pride in the enthusiastic participation of the students. “It is a proud moment for the school to be part of this prestigious programme. Our Scouts and Guides are well-prepared and I am confident that they will shine in all the activities of scouting,” he said, extending his best wishes to the participants.
The training is expected to enhance the students’ knowledge and skills in scouting while fostering a sense of community and responsibility. The school’s involvement reflects its commitment to holistic education and character formation.
