On May 16, 2026, Snehalaya Homes and the Child Friendly Guwahati (CFG) Centres proudly celebrated the success of 58 students who excelled in the 2026 High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary (HS) examinations. The felicitation ceremony, held at Snehalaya, marked the 11th edition of the prestigious Arindam Goswami Memorial Award, instituted by Dr. Ravindra Nath Goswami and Dr. Archana Goswami in memory of their late son, Arindam Goswami.

This year, 78 students appeared for the HSLC examination and 23 for the HS examination. Of these, 18 students secured First Division, while 40 achieved Second Division and Third Division results. All 58 successful candidates were honored during the ceremony, with First Division holders receiving the Arindam Goswami Memorial Award.

Rev. Fr. V. M. Thomas, founder of CFG and sponsor of the felicitation programme, graced the occasion alongside distinguished guests Dr. Ravindra Nath Goswami and Dr. Archana Goswami. Their continued support underscores the mission of empowering underprivileged children through education.

The award commemorates Arindam Goswami, a vibrant and compassionate young man who pursued his dreams in Austin, USA, and was admired for his passion for health, fitness, and humanitarian outreach. His legacy continues to inspire students to strive for excellence.

The ceremony concluded with a moment of silence in memory of Arindam Goswami,followed by heartfelt gratitude expressed to Mr. and Mrs. Goswami for their humanitarian initiative that promotes education among underprivileged children.
