Christ the King Parish, Dimakuchi, joyfully celebrated the Silver Jubilee of Religious Profession of Rev. Fr. Anugrah Tete, SDB, the Rector and Parish Priest of the parish, on Sunday, 8 February 2026, marking 25 years of dedicated service in religious life. A good number of Salesians were present for the Holy Mass.
The Jubilee celebrations began with a Solemn Jubilee Holy Eucharist at 10:00 a.m., which was presided over by Rev. Fr. Anugrah Tete, SDB. The Eucharistic celebration brought together priests, religious, parishioners, students, and well-wishers, who gathered in a spirit of thanksgiving and prayer to praise God for His abiding grace in the life and ministry of the jubilant.
In his address, Rev. Fr. Anugrah Tete, SDB thanked those present for their warm and affectionate presence at the Jubilee Holy Mass. He expressed his gratitude to God for the gift of fidelity in his religious life and thanked all those who were instrumental in his formation. He also requested prayers that he might continue to be the “Salt of the Earth” and the “Light of the World” to the people and the community he serves.
The celebration was inspired by the Jubilee theme, “My grace is sufficient for you” (2 Corinthians 12:9), reflecting the Salesian journey of faith, perseverance, and trust in God’s providence. Heartfelt gratitude was expressed for the faithful service of Fr. Anugrah Tete, whose pastoral leadership and commitment have significantly contributed to the growth and vitality of the parish and the wider Salesian mission.
Following the Holy Mass, a felicitation programme was held, during which speakers recalled the inspiring journey and contributions of the jubilant. This was followed by a short cultural programme performed by parish members, which added colour and joy to the occasion. The celebrations concluded with a fellowship meal, strengthening the spirit of communion and fraternity among all present.
