He also appreciated the principals for encouraging their staff to participate in the meaningful seminar.

During his sessions, Fr. Bivan Rodriques Mukhim focused on the Preventive System of Education, emphasising that Don Bosco’s educational philosophy continues to remain relevant and effective even in the present age. He encouraged the participants to practise reason, religion, and loving-kindness in their interaction with students.

Interactive group discussions were also organised during the seminar, where teachers reflected on practical ways of living out the Salesian spirit through “presence” and “accompaniment” of students both inside and outside the classroom.

The afternoon session was dedicated to the important topic of “Safeguarding.” Fr. Bivan Mukhim explained the concept, significance, and necessity of safeguarding practices for all those working in Don Bosco educational institutions. The session helped participants understand their responsibilities in ensuring safe and nurturing environments for children and young people.
