Don Bosco Hostel, Bhooteachang, celebrated the 77th Republic Day of the nation with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The occasion brought together the hostel community as students actively participated in a variety of programmes that highlighted their love for the nation and respect for its constitutional values.
The celebration featured an impressive march past, drill, physical exercises, and a short patriotic skit presented by the students. Their disciplined performances, coordination, and teamwork reflected their dedication, commitment, and deep sense of patriotism.
Rev. Fr. Joseph Bara SDB and Rev. Fr. Francis Xavier Kujur SDB graced the celebration as the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively. Rev. Fr. Francis Xavier Kujur SDB unfurled the National Flag and delivered an inspiring address to the gathering. In his speech, he stressed the importance of education, moral values, and discipline in life, urging the students to remain sincere in their studies and to grow into responsible and committed citizens of the nation.
The Republic Day celebration concluded with a profound sense of pride, joy, and renewed commitment among the students to uphold the ideals and values enshrined in the Indian Constitution.
