The Don Bosco College of Teacher Education (DBCTE), Tura, warmly welcomed Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kuricheal SDB, Provincial of the Salesian Province of Guwahati, and Rev. Fr. Jayaprakash Anthonimuttu SDB, Provincial Economer, during their two-day Provincial Visitation to the Don Bosco College, Tura Community on 21 and 22 August 2025.
The visitation was marked by a cordial reception from the students of DBCTE, who extended their greetings with joy and enthusiasm. The students also had the opportunity to interact with the Provincial and Economer, sharing their experiences and aspirations as future educators.
Fr. Sebastian Kuricheal, in his address, encouraged the students to remain committed to their vocation as teachers, reminding them of Don Bosco’s vision of forming young people with competence, compassion, and character. Fr. Jayaprakash Anthonimuttu appreciated the hospitality of the community and motivated the students to make the best use of the opportunities offered at DBCTE for personal and professional growth.
