The Province of Guwahati extended a heartfelt and warm welcome to Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kuricheal SDB, upon his return from attending the 2025 General Chapter in Rome. The joyful homecoming took place on the morning of 14th April 2025 (Monday) at the Provincial House, Panbazar.

The Confreres gathered at the Provincial House to greet and thank God for the protection and guidance He bestowed upon Fr. Sebastian during his time at Valdocco, Turin, and in Rome. The atmosphere was filled with joy and gratitude as the province expressed their heartfelt appreciation for his dedication to the mission and his leadership role in the Congregation.

Fr. Sebastian, who had spent several weeks at the General Chapter, reflected on the significant moments of the gathering and the spirit of unity that was shared among the Salesians worldwide. His presence back in the province was seen as a moment of renewed energy and hope for the future of the Province of Guwahati.

In his welcome address, Fr. Sebastian expressed his profound gratitude for the warm reception and the prayers of the confreres. He assured them of his commitment to leading the province with zeal and a deep sense of belonging to the Salesian mission. The warm embrace of the confreres at Panbazar was a true reflection of the unity and bond that holds the Salesian family together.
