The Province officially launched its Province Mobile Application on 31 January 2026, the Feast of St John Bosco, marking a significant step in strengthening communication and outreach within the Province. The App was formally launched by Rev Fr Sebastian Kuricheal SDB, Provincial, in the presence of members of the Salesian Family, as part of the Feast Day celebrations.

Speaking at the launch, Rev Fr Sebastian Kuricheal SDB highlighted the importance of effective communication in today’s digital age. He noted that the Province App would serve as a vital platform for disseminating news, information, circulars, and important updates to all confreres and collaborators associated with the Province in its various apostolates.

The Provincial expressed his sincere appreciation to the Social Communication Commission of the Province for their dedicated efforts in conceptualising and developing the mobile application. He also informed the gathering that the App would be available for download on the Google Play Store in the coming days.

Developed under the name “Salesian Province of Guwahati”, the App has been released with version 1.0.0.1. Designed to be user-friendly and accessible, the App aims to reach a wider audience and serve as a reliable digital platform for sharing information and strengthening the Salesian mission in the Province.
