Rongjeng Parish organised its Annual Spiritual Retreat from 16 to 18 October 2026, bringing together more than 400 faithful for three days of prayer, reflection, and spiritual renewal.

Rev. Fr. Shaji MSFS served as the main preacher and animator of the retreat, guiding the participants through inspiring reflections and spiritual inputs to deepen their faith and strengthen their relationship with the Lord. The retreat provided the faithful with an opportunity to pause from their daily routines, reflect on their Christian lives, and renew their commitment to living the Gospel.

At the beginning of the retreat, Rev. Fr. Symplicius Kerketta SDB, Parish Priest of Rongjeng, warmly welcomed the preacher and all the participants. He expressed his hope that the three days would be meaningful moments of prayer, grace, and union with the Lord, enabling everyone to experience God’s loving presence more deeply.

The enthusiastic participation of over 400 faithful reflected the community’s desire for spiritual growth and renewal. The retreat concluded with a renewed sense of faith and a deeper commitment to Christian living, inspiring the faithful to carry the fruits of their spiritual experience into their families and communities.
