Most Rev. Thomas Pulloppillil, D.D., Bishop of Bongaigaon blessing the new Boy’s Hostel in the presence of Fr Sebastian Kuricheal SDB and others.
A new milestone was marked at Don Bosco College, Chapaguri, with the blessing and inauguration of the newly constructed Boys’ Hostel on Saturday, 10th May 2025.
The solemn event, held at 3:30 PM on the college campus, was graced by the presence of Most Rev. Thomas Pulloppillil, D.D., Bishop of Bongaigaon, who blessed the hostel building. The official inauguration was carried out by Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kuricheal SDB, Provincial of the Salesian Province of Guwahati.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr (Fr) Abhilash VJ, Principal of Don Bosco College, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the dignitaries and emphasized the importance of the new facility in providing a conducive and safe living space for students.
Present at the Inauguration programme were Rev Fr Jayaprakash Anthonimuttu SDB, Economer of the Province, Rev Fr Benny Alex, Former Economer of the Province and other dignitaries.
