A solemn and joyful Marian Nite was organized as the culmination of the month-long celebration of the Month of the Holy Rosary 2026–27, bringing together the pre-novices and hostel boys in an atmosphere of faith, devotion and fellowship. The programme was held on Friday 30 October, 2026.
As part of the month-long animation, the pre-novices were divided into four teams, each representing a Marian title: Our Lady of Lourdes, Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Velankanni and Our Lady of Guadalupe. Various individual and group competitions and tournaments were conducted throughout the month, providing the participants with opportunities to showcase their talents, creativity, teamwork and devotion to the Blessed Mother.
The final celebration was further enriched by the presence of the hostel boys, accompanied by Fr. Francis Xavier Minj and Deacon Marcus Kurbah, who also served as judges for the final events. Fr. Somesh, Principal of St. Xavier’s School, Dotma, graced the occasion and joined the participants in the celebration.
The programme concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winners, followed by a fellowship meal shared by all.
The Marian Nite was a memorable celebration of faith, joy and filial love for Mother Mary, strengthening the Marian devotion and community spirit among the pre-novices.
