Rev Fr Kishor Mushahary SDB and Rev Fr Klisterwell Sohthiang SDB before their departure to Rome on Wednesday, 30th July 2025.
Rev Fr Klisterwell Sohthiang SDB and Rev Fr Kishor Mushahary SDB departed from the Provincial House, Guwahati, at 2:00 PM on 30th July 2025, heading to Rome to begin their higher studies. Before their departure, they were warmly greeted and given a fraternal send-off by the Vice Provincial and the Economer, symbolizing the support and prayers of the entire Province. Rev Fr Charles Deepen Lakra SDB, Rector of the provincial House accompanied them to the airport.
The two confreres will travel to Rome via Kolkata and Abu Dhabi.
Their departure marks a moment of great joy and pride for the Salesian Province of Guwahati, as they embark on this journey of academic and spiritual enrichment. The Province joins together in wishing them the very best, praying that their time in Rome may be fruitful and inspiring. May they return with new vigour, wisdom, and enthusiasm to continue contributing meaningfully to the mission and growth of the Province.
