The fifth Vocation Camp of the Province commenced on 19 January 2026 at Don Bosco, Satgaon, specially organized for candidates from the Dima Hasao and Karbi Anglong region. A total of 16 aspirants participated in the inaugural programme, marking a significant moment of grace and discernment for the young candidates.

In his words of welcome, Fr Albert greeted the vocation team and the candidates, encouraging them to make the most of these days through sincere discernment, learning, and a deeper understanding of God’s will in their lives. As a gracious gesture of hospitality and appreciation, he presented a traditional Garo Pandra to all those present.
Fr Abraham Kanattu SDB, Rector and Parish Priest of Sojong, offered profound reflections, reminding the candidates that nothing happens by chance and that it is God Himself who has lovingly led each of them to this vocation camp, inviting them to consider the call to become Salesians.
Fr John Mathias Marak SDB, Vocation Promoter, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the community confreres for their generous accommodation and support, and thanked all those present for their cooperation and encouragement.
