Rev. Fr. John Barman MSFS, Director of the North Eastern Regional Youth Centre (NERYC), addressed the youth of DBI as they celebrate World Youth Day 2025.
Don Bosco Institute, Kharghuli, marked World Youth Day on Sunday, 13 April, by integrating the celebrations with the observance of Palm Sunday. The event was attended by many young individuals currently at the institute for training.
Rev. Fr. John Barman MSFS, Director of the North Eastern Regional Youth Centre (NERYC), addressed the gathering, inspiring the students to take on leadership roles and guide the region with integrity and responsibility. He urged them to live good lives as an example to others and become the positive change the region needs.
Following the inspirational talk, the youth participated in the Palm Sunday celebration, holding palms in their hands and offering heartfelt prayers for God’s blessings. The event was a meaningful blend of reflection, prayer, and the commitment to being leaders of tomorrow.
