Don Bosco Institute, Kharghuli, came alive with faith and fervour as it hosted Youth Pasch 2025 from 17th to 20th April under the theme “Journeying with Jesus.” The event brought together youth from across the region to experience the Easter Triduum through prayer, reflection, fellowship, and creative expression.

The celebration began with Palm Sunday on 13th April, led by Fr. Cletus Sebastian SDB, Rector and Executive Director of DBI. The week saw dynamic sessions by Fr. John Barman MSFS, inspirational liturgies, praise and worship by Mr. Ravi Hembrom and Ms. Priya Hansepi, and a touching re-enactment of the Last Supper. Rev Fr Sebastian Kuricheal SDB, Provincial was the main celebrant during the Maundy Thursday Service which included the washing of the feet of the disciples and the enactment of the Last Supper. Notable moments included the Way of the Cross led by Fr. Bivan Rodrigues Mukhim SDB, Vice Provincial, and the Good Friday Service by Rev Archbihop John Moolachira DD, Archbishop of Guwahati. The Easter Vigil Service is celebrated by Fr. Raj Kapoor.

The grand finale was the Easter Sunday Mass will be presided over by Fr. V.M. Thomas, Founder Director of DBI, followed by the “Galilee Experience” and lunch. The event highlighted the message that “God is with you. God loves you. God has a perfect plan for your life.”

The programme was steered by a dedicated committee, with Fr. Cletus Sebastian as Chairman and Fr. John Rabha SDB, Sr. Athisa Agatha FMA, and Sr. Kaini Roselyn FMA as Coordinators. The collaborative effort of Fathers, Sisters, staff, and volunteers made Youth Pasch 2025 a memorable and transformative experience for all participants.
