The young Salesians along with Rev Fr Sebastian Kuricheal, Provincial and Rev Fr George Maliekal, Preacher after their retreat at the Don Bosco Provincial House, Guwahati.
The annual Retreat for Clerics and Brothers preparing for perpetual and renewal vows concluded today 18th April 2025 at Don Bosco Provincial House, Panbazar. Held from April 13 to 18, 2025, the retreat was guided by Rev. Fr George Maliekal SDB under the theme “Rooted in Christ, Radiating His Love.”
Throughout the week, the participants engaged in spiritual exercises, meditations, talks, Holy Eucharist, and devotions. A special Day of Reconciliation on April 17 included a Penitential Service and Confession, encouraging deeper introspection and renewal.
The retreat culminated with a Concluding Words by Fr Sebastian Kuricheal SDB, Provincial in the Mario Hall. It concluded with the renewal of the vows by the participants and the blessings of Mary Help of Christians. The well-organized schedule featured contributions from several brothers who led prayers, devotions, adoration, and assisted in music and liturgy.
Rev. Fr George Maliekal SDB, the preacher of the retreat, led the participants through a week of guided meditations, spiritual conferences, the Eucharist, and devotions. The daily rhythm of prayer, silence, and talks provided a nurturing space for the young Salesians to grow in their vocation and commitment.
