Don Bosco Shrine, Gojapara Parish, was blessed to host a four-day Charismatic Youth Retreat from October 15 to 18, 2026, offering young participants a special opportunity to deepen their faith, renew their spiritual lives, and experience the transforming presence of the Lord.

The retreat was guided by Rev. Fr. Thadeus Kujur, SDB, who led the participants in their spiritual journey through prayer, reflection, and faith-filled animation. The retreat aimed at helping the young people strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ and become more conscious of God’s presence and action in their lives.

At the beginning of the retreat, Rev. Fr. Denis Toju Sangma, SDB, Parish Priest of Gojapara, warmly welcomed the participants and encouraged them to make the most of these precious moments of grace. He invited the young people to open their hearts to the Lord, participate wholeheartedly in the spiritual activities, and allow God’s Word to guide and transform their lives.

The retreat provided a meaningful setting for the youth to pause amid their daily commitments, renew their spiritual fervour, and grow in faith. Through prayer and spiritual accompaniment, the participants were encouraged to embrace a deeper personal encounter with Jesus and carry the fruits of the retreat into their families, communities, and everyday lives.
