Rev Fr Sebastian Kuricheal SDB, Provincial blessing the Dream Statue at Don Bosco Centre for Learning (DBCL), Tura.
On 20th August 2025, a significant moment of grace and inspiration was witnessed at Don Bosco Centre for Learning with the blessing of the Dream Statue of Don Bosco by Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kuricheal SDB, Provincial.
The statue, a symbolic reminder of the mission of the Salesian Congregation and the charism of Don Bosco that has spread across the world, was blessed in the presence of the Brothers, hostel boys, and students.
Fr. Provincial, expressing his joy, highlighted that Don Bosco’s mission continues to be nurtured and carried forward with zeal in the community. He also appreciated the leadership of Rev. Fr. Jogesh B. Sangma SDB, Rector and Principal, along with the community members, for their dedication and commitment to Don Bosco’s vision.
The programme began with words of introduction and felicitation delivered by Rev. Fr. Jogesh B. Sangma SDB, Rector, setting the tone for the solemn and meaningful occasion.
The blessing of the Dream Statue stands as a renewed inspiration for the Salesian community and all those associated with Don Bosco Centre for Learning to live and spread Don Bosco’s mission in the world today.
