Twenty-five young aspirants who have successfully completed their Class XII examinations at Hubert D’Rosario Missionary Aspirantate, Sirajuli, embarked on a significant new phase of their vocational journey on Monday, March 16, 2026. Accompanied by Rev. Fr. Kolombiya Rabha, SDB, Dean of Studies at Sirajuli, the group arrived at Don Bosco Gojapara to commence a two-month intensive preparatory programme ahead of their entry into the Pre-Novitiate at Dotma.

The following day marked the formal inauguration of the programme with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist presided over by Rev. Fr. Bivan Rodrigues Mukhim, SDB, Vice Provincial. In a spirit of prayerful surrender, the aspirants and the entire formation process were entrusted to the loving care of the Blessed Virgin Mary and to the guidance of Don Bosco, invoking divine grace for the journey ahead.

The aspirants will undergo their formation under the dedicated guidance of Rev. Fr. Denis Toju Sangma, SDB, Parish Priest and in-charge of Don Bosco Gojapara, assisted by Rev. Fr. Philemon Rabha, SDB, Assistant Parish Priest. Their accompaniment aims at nurturing the aspirants’ human, spiritual, and Salesian dimensions, preparing them for the demands of religious life.

In the course of the programme, Deacon Marcus Kurbah, SDB, along with other resource persons, will join the formation team to animate various sessions, enriching the aspirants through inputs, interactions, and pastoral exposure.

Their efforts ensure that the aspirants are provided with a conducive environment to grow, reflect, and prepare themselves meaningfully for the next stage of their Salesian formation journey.
