The Annual Catholic Sabha of Doomni Parish was held with great devotion and joy on Sunday, 11 January 2026. The solemn Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rt Rev Bishop Thomas Pulloppillil , D.D., the Bishop of Bongaigaon, who was the main celebrant for the occasion.

A significant highlight of the celebration was the conferral of the Sacrament of Confirmation to 345 youth of the parish by the Bishop. In his homily, Bishop Pulloppillil reminded the youth and the faithful of the need to remember that Spirit has come into their lives and that they must always give the first place to God in all aspects of life.

Rev Fr Bhaskar Raj Chinthamalla, SDB, the Parish Priest of Doomni, welcomed the Bishop and all those gathered for the Annual Sabha. In his address, he emphasized the importance of unity with the Bishop and active participation in parish life for the growth and strengthening of faith within the community.

Following the Holy Mass, a cultural programme was organized by the parishioners to celebrate the day. The programme reflected the joy, faith, and unity of the Doomni Parish community, making the Annual Catholic Sabha a memorable and spiritually enriching occasion for all.
