The Azara Campus of Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU) hosted its three-day annual techno-commerce-management festival, “Prajyukttam–Mercemoc–Arthavardhana 2026,” from September 28 to 30, bringing together students from various institutions across Assam in a vibrant celebration of technology, commerce, management, creativity and innovation.

The entire campus came alive with practical demonstrations, competitions and exhibitions showcasing innovative solutions to real-world problems through the application of technological and commerce-related managerial knowledge acquired in the classroom. Various co-curricular clubs, under the guidance of their respective faculty members, designed miniature artefacts and conducted department-specific activities in an engaging and competitive atmosphere.

The Robotics and Mechanical Clubs were among the major attractions of the festival, earning appreciation for their exciting Robo Soccer and Robo Race competitions. The activities provided participants with opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in practical situations while developing problem-solving abilities, creativity and teamwork.

More than 500 students from 15 reputed institutions across Assam participated in the festival. The participating institutions included Gauhati University, University of Science and Technology Meghalaya, B. Borooah College, North Lakhimpur University, Assam Engineering College, Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar, Royal Global University, Pragjyotish College and Jorhat Engineering College, among others.

The enthusiastic participation of students from diverse institutions and the successful conduct of numerous techno-management and commerce-related activities reflected the growing reach of the festival and its spirit of inter-institutional collaboration. The event offered students a platform to demonstrate their knowledge, creativity, technical skills, managerial abilities and teamwork in a stimulating and competitive environment.

The successful organisation of the festival was made possible through the collective efforts of the university administration, faculty members, staff, student coordinators, club members, volunteers and participating institutions. Dr Jyoti Barman and Ms Rubi Haloi, faculty members, took the lead in coordinating the overall programme, with the wholehearted support and involvement of the Faculty Club advisers.

The three-day festival thus emerged as a significant student-engagement initiative at ADBU, strengthening interaction among educational institutions while fostering innovation, collaboration and practical learning. “Prajyukttam–Mercemoc–Arthavardhana 2026” provided a vibrant platform for young minds to explore technology, commerce and management while contributing to the vision of a technology-driven New India.
