Don Bosco Institute (DBI), Guwahati, held its Graduation Ceremony for the month of September on 30 September 2026, celebrating the successful completion of training by 81 young people. The graduation ceremony was graced by Shri Vijay Kumar Gupta, Honourable MLA of Central Guwahati, as the Chief Guest. Mr Simon, Manager of Federal Bank, was the Guest of Honour. The programme was also attended by other dignitaries, DBI staff members, trainers, students and well-wishers.

Addressing the graduating students, Shri Vijay Kumar Gupta emphasised the importance of skills, dedication and hard work in achieving success in life. Encouraging the young graduates to remain committed to their goals, he highlighted that opportunities often come to those who are prepared and willing to work hard. “Luck follows those who work hard,” he remarked, urging the students to make good use of the skills they had acquired and to continue learning throughout their lives.

The Chief Guest expressed his happiness at being part of the graduation ceremony and appreciated the efforts of DBI in equipping young people with practical skills and preparing them for employment and a dignified future.

The graduation ceremony marked an important milestone for the 81 young graduates as they completed their respective training programmes. The occasion celebrated not only their achievements but also their determination to build a better future through skill development, perseverance and hard work.

The programme concluded with words of encouragement to the graduates as they prepared to take the next step in their professional journeys, carrying with them the skills and values acquired during their time at DBI.
