Rev Fr Sebastian Kuricheal SDB, Provincial blessing the foundation of the Science Block and Auditorium at Don Bosco College, Chapaguri.
In a significant milestone for Don Bosco College, Chapaguri, the foundation stone for the much-awaited Science Block and Auditorium was blessed on 2nd December 2025 by Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kuricheal SDB, Provincial. The blessing ceremony marked the formal beginning of a visionary project that promises to expand academic opportunities and infrastructural growth for the college.
The Provincial was joined by Rev. Fr. Jayaprakash Anthonimuttu SDB, Economer, and Rev. Fr. Abhilash Vadakkekara SDB, Principal of Don Bosco College, Chapaguri. Also present were the Salesians serving in the Bodoland region, well-wishers, and the students.
Welcoming all those present, Fr. Abhilash Vadakkekara expressed his joy at the commencement of this important project and thanked the Provincial and the Economer for their presence and support. He highlighted the significance of the new Science Block and Auditorium in enhancing the academic profile of the college, particularly as it prepares to introduce science courses in the near future.
During the prayer of blessing, Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kuricheal offered words of gratitude to God for enabling the beginning of this new chapter in the college’s growth. He thanked everyone who gathered for the occasion and acknowledged their commitment and collaboration in making the project a reality. Praying for the smooth progress and timely completion of the construction, he expressed hope that the new facilities would soon stand ready to serve generations of students.
The ceremony concluded with a shared sense of joy and optimism as the college community looks forward to the transformation that this new development will bring to Don Bosco College, Chapaguri.
