Sunday School Students of Satgaon Parish.
On 30 December 2025, approximately 400 Sunday School students from Classes I to X across the villages of Mary Help of Christians Church, Satgaon Parish, West Karbi Anglong, appeared for their Final Examination at the parish school. It may be recalled that the oral examination, which included common prayers, was conducted earlier on 23 December.
This marks the first-ever formal examination initiative introduced by the parish as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen faith formation among children and young people. The results will be announced on 21 December, and meritorious students will be felicitated on the occasion.
A total of 32 villages participated in the examination. Sr. Silsila Marak, the examination in-charge, together with the Satgaon Centre teachers, ensured the smooth and orderly conduct of the assessment. The question setters had completed all preparatory arrangements well in advance, while the village Sunday School teachers served diligently as invigilators.
