RONGKHON PARISH REACHES OUT TO THE POOR VILLAGERS WITH RELIEF MATERIALS

Rongkhon Parish under the leadership of Fr. Amit Lakra, reaches out with relief materials to two poorer villages of the Parish where displaced people have settled. The two villages are Rongram Dingra A.ding and Ganol Apal. They live on collecting sand from the river or by breaking stones or doinghajira in Rongram Bazaar. The prolonged lockdown has affected them badly. Thanks to the Salesian Community of Rongkhon, the poor village people received Second Round of Relief materials. Most Reverend Andrew R. Marak, Bishop of Tura was also present on the occasion to offer prayers and impart his blessing. We express our appreciation to Fr. Amit and his team of collaborators.
