Emmanuel Marngar SDB, Principal, and Bro. Paul Makri SDB, Vice Principal, the programme was coordinated by Ms. Rupashree Chakraborty, Ms. Chrismalisa Basumatary, and Ma\u2019am Bibari B. Basumatary. The celebration aimed to promote awareness of yoga\u2019s immense benefits for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.<\/p>\n<p>The event began with a brief introduction to the significance of Yoga Day, presented by Class V student Shreelekha Koch. Students, dressed in jerseys and trousers, were seated in orderly rows and guided through a well-structured yoga session. Under the leadership of Ms. Chrismalisa Basumatary, ten students demonstrated various asanas, stretching exercises, and pranayama techniques on stage, while others followed along with enthusiasm and discipline.<\/p>\n<p>The session concluded with a short meditation, helping students experience inner calm and focus. The programme ended with a motivational speech by Ms. Rupashree Chakraborty, who emphasized the importance of integrating yoga into daily life for better health and improved academic performance.<\/p>\n<p>The event not only fostered physical fitness but also instilled in the students a deeper appreciation for a holistic and balanced lifestyle.
