    \n The youth of Satgaon Parish, carrying their flags, at the A\u00b7chik Summer Youth Camp which concludes on Sunday. <\/p>\n

    The A\u2022chik Catholic Summer Youth Camp and the Jubilee for Youth of Mary Help of Christians Church, Satgaon, came to a graceful conclusion on Sunday, July 6, 2025. The high note of the grand finale was a solemn Eucharistic celebration in the packed parish auditorium and the symbolic lowering of the youth flag, outdoors.\u00a0<\/h3>\n

    The Holy Mass was presided over by Fr. Januarius S. Sangma, former Provincial of Guwahati and the current Principal of Don Bosco College, Tura. In his homily, Fr. Sangma reflected on the Gospel passage of Jesus sending out the seventy-two disciples, reminding the youth that every path in life is a potential calling from God. He encouraged the young participants to remain open to God\u2019s will, including vocations to the priesthood and religious life.<\/p>\n

    On the previous evening, Fr. Januarius S. Sangma also delivered an inspiring session titled \u201cEducation \u2013 the Hope of Young People,\u201d highlighting the transformative power of education in shaping the future of youth and the Church.<\/p>\n

    The four-day gathering, attended by approximately 300 participants, including youth from Satgaon parish and representatives from the Dokmoka Garo Catholic community, was a significant event in the context of the 2025 Jubilee Year. It was observed as the Jubilee for Youth, with the overarching theme, \u201cJourneying Together in Faith and Hope,\u201d echoing the Jubilee\u2019s central motto: Pilgrims of Hope.<\/p>\n

    Throughout the camp, sessions were carefully curated to reflect the theme, and presentations by various resource persons were well-received and appreciated by the youth. The organizers ensured a balanced focus on the intellectual, spiritual, and emotional dimensions of young people, contributing directly to the overall success of the program.<\/p>\n

    A notable highlight of the camp was the transition of leadership within the parish youth group. The outgoing leaders formally handed over responsibilities to a newly elected team, who will now serve the youth ministry for the next three years.<\/p>\n
