    \n Participants of the Catholic Children\u2019s Summer Camp held at St. Francis Xavier Parish, Haflong after the conclusion of the Summer’s Camp. <\/p>\n

    The Catholic Children\u2019s Summer Camp 2025, held from 4th<\/sup> to 6th<\/sup> July at St. Francis Xavier Parish, Haflong, brought together 170 children from various sub-centres of the parish for an inspiring and faith-filled experience. Organized by the Catholic Youth Movement (CYM), Haflong, in collaboration with the Parish Council and other parish associations, the camp aimed to nurture spiritual growth and foster a sense of community among the young participants.<\/h3>\n

    The event kicked off with an inaugural ceremony, where Rev. Fr. Xavier Beck, SDB, along with Mr. Richard Sumer and other parish leaders, lit the ceremonial lamp, signifying the beginning of the camp. The children were divided into seven groups, each participating in engaging activities designed to promote teamwork, creativity, and spiritual reflection.<\/p>\n

    The second day of the camp featured enriching spiritual sessions that focused on deepening the children\u2019s understanding of their faith. Rev. Fr. Xavier Beck, SDB, led a session on \u201cUnderstanding the Liturgy,\u201d helping the children connect with the beauty and significance of the liturgical traditions. Other sessions, such as \u201cBe the Change\u201d by Mr. Richard Sumer and \u201cKnow Your Faith\u201d by Ms. Elary Margaret Doungel, empowered the children to live out their faith in everyday life. Sr. Superior from the VSDB Convent in Mahur also shared a session on \u201cOur Catholic Faith.\u201d<\/p>\n

    The day was further enhanced with games, practice sessions, and a vibrant cultural evening where the children showcased their talents and creativity through various performances. The camp\u2019s atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter, and a sense of unity.<\/p>\n

    On the final day, the camp culminated with a solemn Holy Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Xavier Beck. The children received prizes for their participation, and the event concluded with an inspiring animation session led by the CYM members.<\/p>\n

    The children left the camp spiritually enriched, with hearts full of joy, gratitude, and a renewed love for their faith. Ready to embrace their roles as little pilgrims of hope, they returned to their homes, carrying with them the lessons learned and the sense of community built over the three days. The entire summer camp was planned under the guidance of Rev Fr Albert D. Sangma SDB, Parish Priest.<\/p>\n
