    The gentle rhythm of music, final stage preparations, and the eager faces of students set a joyful tone as Don Bosco School, Kokrajhar celebrated its Annual Day cum Parents\u2019 Day on 19 December 2025. The school campus was transformed into a vibrant hub of excitement and anticipation, as weeks of meticulous planning, rehearsals, and teamwork culminated in a memorable celebration of togetherness.<\/h3>\n

    The programme was held under the inspiring theme \u201cSoaring Towards Excellence,\u201d beautifully reflecting the school\u2019s commitment to holistic education and the all-round development of its students. The theme highlighted the journey of learners as they grow academically, creatively, socially, and morally, guided consistently by dedicated teachers and supportive parents.<\/p>\n

    The celebration began with a tribute to the patron, St John Bosco, followed by a meaningful presentation of the school\u2019s vision by the student anchors. A warm welcome was extended to all parents and guests present. The august gathering was graced by Prof. Nochovono Tase, Principal, North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS), who attended as the Chief Guest.<\/p>\n

    In her address, Prof. Tase appreciated the well-organised programme and commended the school for promoting the all-round development of students. She encouraged the young learners to dream big, remain disciplined, and work with dedication and perseverance to achieve excellence. She also underlined the vital role of parents in nurturing values, resilience, and a spirit of lifelong learning in shaping responsible citizens and future leaders.<\/p>\n

    The cultural segment of the programme was a colourful showcase of student talent, featuring dances, songs, debates, skill displays, and thematic presentations. Each performance conveyed strong messages of perseverance, discipline, teamwork, innovation, and the pursuit of excellence. The stage came alive with confidence and creativity, reflecting the values instilled by the school.<\/p>\n

    A special highlight of the celebration was the segment dedicated to parents, acknowledging them as true partners in education. Parents delighted the audience with their graceful performance, symbolising their unwavering support in their children\u2019s educational journey. On behalf of the parents, Dr. Gomesh Mosahary, Principal, Sazolie College of Teacher Education, Kohima, Nagaland, expressed heartfelt appreciation to the school management and teachers for their tireless efforts in shaping both the academic and personal growth of students.<\/p>\n

    The school also took pride in honouring meritorious students for their academic excellence, co-curricular achievements, and all-round development, celebrating their dedication and hard work.<\/p>\n

    In his address, the Principal, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Marngar, SDB, reiterated the school\u2019s vision of empowering learners to rise above challenges, set high goals, and contribute meaningfully to society. He reminded the gathering that excellence is not a destination but a continuous journey of growth and self-improvement.<\/p>\n
