The event, however, was cancelled as a mark of respect to the beloved music icon whose melodies shaped the cultural identity of Assam for decades.<\/p>\n<p>In their tribute, the University community recalled how Zubeen\u2019s songs transcended generations, inspiring hope, unity, and love. <em>\u201cYour songs were not just music \u2014 they were the rhythm of our lives, the soul of our celebrations, and the comfort in our silence. You carried the spirit of Assam to the world, uniting us through every note you sang,\u201d<\/em> read the university\u2019s message.<\/p>\n<p>Though gone too soon, the singer\u2019s voice and legacy continue to resonate deeply in the hearts of millions.
