    The Annual Youth Meet 2025, organized by the Zonal Youth in collaboration with the Zonal Committee of Amguri under Balagaon Parish, came to a meaningful conclusion on October 2 at Don Bosco School, Amguri. The five-day event, held from September 28 to October 2, was guided by the theme \u201cI will follow the Lord, wherever He goes, because He has loved me.\u201d<\/em><\/h3>\n

    A total of 183 young people participated in the gathering, with 96 female and 87 male youths coming together from Amguri and neighboring parishes, including Bengtol and Kokrajhar. The event was inaugurated on September 28 with a welcome ceremony and the lighting of the lamp by Rev. Sr. Beronica Minj HM, Headmistress of Don Bosco School, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness. The inaugural session also saw warm words of encouragement from Rev. Fr. Baiju Sebastian, Parish Priest of Balagaon, who spoke on the love of Christ, and Mr. Anthony Soren, Zonal Secretary, who reminded the youth of the call to follow Christ\u2019s example.<\/p>\n

    The following days were filled with sessions, prayer, and cultural activities. On September 29, the program opened with morning prayer and meditation led by Miss Mariam Murmu and Mr. Robert Hembrom, followed by talks on Catholic Faith Building<\/em> by Mr. Philimon Murmu and on Leadership in the Church<\/em> by Mr. Benedict Soren, a Jesus Youth member of Bongaigaon Diocese. Inspiring testimonies were shared, including that of Miss Saniya Tudu, a government teacher, who highlighted the importance of perseverance and quality education. The day ended with a cultural dance competition and the celebration of Holy Mass by Rev. Fr. Nitin Joy Rabha, Assistant Parish Priest of Balagaon.<\/p>\n

    On September 30, sessions on Adolescence and Puberty<\/em> by Mr. Anthony Soren, Child Marriage<\/em> by Mr. Savio Soren, and Migrant Workers<\/em> by Rev. Fr. Ignatius Gari SDB provided practical guidance on pressing social concerns. The day concluded with Holy Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Jeremias Tigga.<\/p>\n

    October 1 was dedicated to education and spirituality. Mr. Patrick Murmu, Principal of Frank English Medium School, Bihar, gave valuable insights on Education and Career Guidance<\/em>. This was followed by a day-long retreat preached by Rev. Fr. Hopna Tudu SDB, Assistant Parish Priest of St. Francis Xavier Parish, Dotma. Drawing inspiration from Biblical figures from Abraham to St. Paul Fr. Tudu reflected on God\u2019s call and shared his own vocation story, encouraging the youth to place their trust in God. The day ended with a Bible Quiz conducted by Parish Youth President, Mr. Joseph Tudu, and a vibrant cultural evening.<\/p>\n

    On October 2, the closing day, the highlight was the Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Hopna Tudu, who exhorted the youth to dedicate themselves generously to the service of the Church, under the guidance and protection of their Guardian Angels. The Youth Meet concluded with a session of evaluation, cleaning of the surroundings, and a fellowship meal before the participants departed with joy and renewed faith.<\/p>\n

    The Annual Youth Meet 2025 was a spiritual, cultural, and educational experience that strengthened faith, built community bonds, and addressed the pressing issues faced by young people today. The success of the program was credited to the dedicated efforts of the local youth body of Amguri, who carried forward the long-awaited gathering with enthusiasm and devotion.<\/p>\n
