    The annual retreat of Mary Help of Christians Church, Satgaon parish, concluded this evening with an overwhelming participation of nearly 3,000 faithful. The closing ceremony was marked by the celebration of the Holy Mass, presided over by Fr. Albert Thyrniang, Parish Priest, followed by a solemn Eucharistic Adoration officiated by Fr. Daniel, Assistant Parish Priest.<\/h3>\n

    In his homily, Fr. Albert summarized the three days of spiritual reflection through demonstrations, urging the renewed retreatants to make a conscious choice for God and against Satan, to embrace blessings instead of curses, to value health over sickness, to nurture relationships with God and others, and to opt for true conversion rather than remain in sin.<\/p>\n

    The retreat unfolded over three days with daily Eucharistic celebrations, devotion of the Rosary and the Divine Chaplets. The first day\u2019s Mass was presided over by Fr. Charles Sangma, Assistant Pastor, and the second day by Fr. Daniel Sangma, Assistant Pastor.<\/p>\n

    The commendable event was animated by Mr. Siby Mathew from Kerala and Mr. Prem Kumar from Bangalore, with strong support from Mr. Linus Maslai of Umswai, along with Mr. Stephan Debarma, Mrs. Seminiwont Debarma, and Mr. Leishichan Debarma from Agartala. Together, they provided participants with a deeply enriching and God-filled experience.<\/p>\n

    Each day of the retreat had a distinct spiritual focus: the first day introduced the faithful to a deeper relationship with the Father, the second emphasized conversion, and the final day called participants to make deliberate choices to embrace good and healthy practices while rejecting those harmful to body, spirit, and soul.<\/p>\n

    Testimonies from participants revealed the depth of the spiritual impact. One participant shared that receiving Holy Communion was the height of his spiritual experience. Another said, \u201cI experienced God most deeply during Eucharistic Adoration.\u201d A third remarked, \u201cThe grace of a good confession will help me transform my life.\u201d Yet a fourth commented, \u2018I was touched by the personal testimonies of two of the preachers who give me hope that I too can transform myself.\u201d<\/p>\n

    As the retreat came to an end, expressions of gratitude filled the atmosphere\u2014gratitude to God, the preachers, priests, religious sisters, parish workers, St. Joseph Sodality, the women and youth groups, and all individuals whose contributions ensured the success of the 2025 retreat.<\/p>\n
