The Annual Youth Retreat 2026 of Doomni Parish concluded on October 20, bringing together more than 490 young people from 29 villages for three days of prayer, reflection, spiritual renewal, and fellowship. Held from October 18 to 20, the retreat provided the participants with an opportunity to deepen their relationship with Jesus and renew their commitment to good living.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The retreat commenced on October 18 with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 7:30 a.m. The young people participated enthusiastically in the various spiritual activities, making the three-day gathering a meaningful experience of faith and communion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The retreat was animated by three preachers from the Salesian Province of Dimapur: Fr Blasius Tete, SDB; Fr Sandeep Barla, SDB; and Mr Lawrence Dhanwar. Through their talks, spiritual guidance, and reflections, they encouraged the participants to examine their lives, strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ, and embrace Gospel values in their daily lives. They also challenged the young people to become responsible people who bore witness to their lives through their words, actions, and service to others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the retreat, the participants experienced an atmosphere of prayer, unity, and spiritual enthusiasm. The programme offered them an opportunity to step away from their daily routines, reflect on their personal lives, seek God’s guidance, and renew their commitment to following Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The retreat concluded on October 20 at 3:00 p.m. with a special Service of Healing, during which the participants prayed for inner healing, peace, and spiritual renewal. The service provided a fitting conclusion to the three-day spiritual journey, and the programme was followed by lunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
