Albert Thyrniang, SDB, Coordinator of the Provincial Migrant Desk and Director of the Don Bosco Satgaon Migrant Desk, immediately coordinated with Salesian migrant ministries, migrant leaders and local authorities to ascertain the circumstances and facilitate the return of the couple\u2019s mortal remains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the completion of the post-mortem and necessary formalities, the bodies were transported from Hosur to Bengaluru and then flown to Guwahati. They arrived on 23 August and were taken to Rupapathar, where Fr. Charles Sangma SDB conducted the funeral rites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The entire village, together with relatives and well-wishers from Bhellapara, gathered to accompany the young couple on their final journey. Migrant workers from Satgaon living in Bengaluru also extended financial and practical support to the grieving families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tragedy has once again highlighted the vulnerability of young people who migrate far from home in search of employment.
