The exhibits reflected not only their scientific understanding but also their creativity, problem-solving abilities and efforts to develop practical solutions to real-life issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Inaugural programme was graced by the present of Dr. Jaideep Baruah, Director of the Assam Science Technology and Environment Council (ASTEC)Director of the Assam Science Technology and Environment Council (ASTEC) as the Chief Guest, along with the Principal Rev Fr Alex Kattakayam SDB, Vice Principal Rev Bromio Ch. Marak SDB, Parish Priest Rev Fr Thomas Lakra SDB and Academic Coordinator. Scientific Officers from ASTEC and distinguished academicians and faculty members from Gauhati University, Cotton University and Arya Vidyapeeth College also participated in the evaluation and interacted with the young innovators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The projects were assessed on parameters including originality, scientific understanding, innovation, methodology, creativity, practical application and the students\u2019 ability to explain and demonstrate their work. The expert interactions and constructive feedback provided the students with valuable exposure and encouragement to pursue scientific thinking and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SciNova\u2019 2026 thus served as more than an exhibition\u2014it became a platform for nurturing scientific temper, confidence, creativity and a spirit of innovation, inspiring students to explore how science and technology can contribute to society and the environment.
