The campus of Don Bosco School Kokrajhar was transformed into a hub of innovation and creativity on Saturday, 27 June 2026<\/strong>, as it hosted its Annual Science and Art Exhibition. The event showcased the talent, scientific temperament, and artistic vision of students from Classes I to XII.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The programme began with the arrival of the Chief Guest, Lt. Col. Elangbam Premjit Singh, Second-in-Command, 135 Territorial Army (Ecological), Assam, Bismuri. He was warmly welcomed by the Principal, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Marngar, SDB, Vice Principal Rev. Bro. Paul Makri, SDB, along with the teachers and students. During the brief felicitation ceremony, the School Head Boy and Head Girl presented the traditional Aronai<\/em> and a bouquet to the Chief Guest as a mark of respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his welcome address, Vice Principal Bro. Paul Makri, SDB, highlighted the importance of integrating science with art to nurture well-rounded learners. He thanked the staff and students for their dedicated efforts and encouraged everyone to “observe, question, and create.” The Principal, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Marngar, SDB, expressed his gratitude to the Chief Guest for gracing the occasion with his presence and encouraging the young learners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest commended the students for their curiosity, creativity, and dedication. “Exhibitions like these prove that learning goes beyond textbooks. What you build today can solve real problems tomorrow,” he remarked. He also urged parents to support their children’s interests in both analytical and creative fields. Emphasising the importance of character formation, he added that success is measured not merely by good grades or examination marks, but by how a person behaves and contributes positively to society. He encouraged the students to strive for excellence by setting achievable short-term goals while remaining focused on their long-term aspirations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents, who appreciated the confidence and clarity with which the students explained their projects. Students from various schools across Kokrajhar also visited the exhibition, making it a valuable inter-school learning experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The displays featured an impressive range of scientific and artistic creations, including working models on plant biology, animal life, the solar system, smart irrigation systems, robotics, hydraulic arms, iron thrusters, and artificial intelligence. The art section showcased creative installations, clay models, and paintings depicting themes such as climate change, Indian culture, historical monuments, and contemporary social issues, including corruption. These exhibits reflected the imagination, critical thinking, and artistic excellence of the students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition stood as a testament to the hard work, creativity, and collaborative efforts of both students and teachers. The programme concluded on a high note, with parents, visitors, and well-wishers expressing their appreciation for the remarkable displays and the school’s commitment to fostering innovation, creativity, and holistic education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
