Rongkhon Parish conducted a vibrant one-day animation programme on 24 May 2026 for Sunday School children of the Missimagre Circle as part of its monthly pastoral initiative to strengthen the faith formation of children across the parish. Rongkhon Parish comprises five circles, covering a total of 42 villages, with each circle consisting of 8 to 10 villages.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In an effort to reach out to all the villages, the parish has decided to organise a monthly Holy Mass and animation programme for Sunday School children in one of the circles every month. For the month, the programme was held in the Missimagre Circle, which includes nine villages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of 71 children and 20 Sunday School teachers participated in the programme despite the long distances between the villages. The programme began at 11:00 a.m. with a short animation session before the Holy Mass. At 12:00 noon, the participants gathered at Selbalgre A Village for the Rosary, followed by the celebration of the Holy Mass. After the Eucharistic celebration, the children were given refreshments and another brief animation session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, the participants proceeded to Selbalgre B Village for lunch. Following the meal, further animation activities, catechism talks, and instructions were conducted for the children. The programme concluded at 4:30 p.m. with a vote of thanks and concluding prayers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The catechists, youngsters, and faithful of the villages extended wholehearted support in organising the programme and expressed great joy at the successful conduct of the day-long faith formation gathering. The initiative was appreciated as a meaningful effort to nurture the spiritual growth and unity of the children and teachers of Rongkhon Parish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
