The Women\u2019s Convention of Mary Help of Christians Parish, Satgaon, concluded on 23 May 2025 with a solemn Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr. Albert Thyrniang, Parish Priest, followed by the lowering of the Marian Sodality flag.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The two-day annual gathering witnessed the participation of more than 600 delegates representing 32 villages of the parish. The theme of the convention was, \u201cDo Whatever He Tells You\u201d (John 2:5).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The resource persons for the convention included Mrs. Merina Marak, Publicity Secretary of the Regional Women\u2019s Commission, Fr. Peter A. Sangma, Fr. Charles Sangma, Fr. Albert Thyrniang, Mrs. Glorina Marak, and Mr. Nitendra Sangma. The sessions focused on important themes such as the duties of parents towards their children, aligning oneself with God\u2019s plan, \u201cLet the Children Come unto Me,\u201d and the Christian family in response to God\u2019s call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spiritual activities formed the heart of the convention, with daily Holy Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, the Rosary, and Biblical meditation enriching the participants throughout the programme. Competitions, games, and cultural performances also added vibrancy and encouraged active participation among the delegates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The convention had been formally inaugurated on the morning of 22 May 2025 and concluded successfully through former and informal discussions, planning and team work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
