The Blessing and Inauguration of a new village school at Patgaon under Dotma Parish was held with great joy and solemnity on 25th<\/sup> April 2026. The new school building was blessed by Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kuricheal SDB, Provincial, in the presence of Mrs. Pramila Rani Brahma, former Agriculture Minister of Assam, Rev. Fr. Jayaprakash Anthonimuttu SDB, Economer, Rev. Fr. Sebastian Edathumparambil SDB, Rector and Parish Priest of Dotma, along with several local leaders and members of the Patgaon community.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In his address, Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kuricheal SDB expressed his gratitude for the timely completion of the school building, enabling the institution to commence the new academic year as planned. He specially appreciated the efforts of Rev. Fr. Sebastian Edathumparambil SDB for diligently overseeing the construction of the school. Dedicating the institution to the people of Patgaon, the Provincial encouraged the students to make good use of the facilities to pursue knowledge and excel in their studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welcoming the gathering, Rev. Fr. Sebastian Edathumparambil SDB expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Salesian Province, particularly to the Provincial, for his constant support and close supervision in bringing the project to completion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mrs. Pramila Rani Brahma, in her speech, thanked the Salesians for their commitment to education and for establishing a school in Patgaon. She noted that the institution would significantly contribute to meeting the educational needs of the local community and fostering the growth of the younger generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inauguration marks a significant milestone for the people of Patgaon, as the new school promises to open doors of opportunity and holistic development for the children of the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
