The Rector Major of the Salesian Congregation, Rev. Fr. Fabio Attard SDB, on Monday, April 20, 2026, congratulated the Province for its Newsline<\/em>, which featured an article and cover story on his recent visit to India.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A copy of the Newsline<\/em> was presented to him by Rev. Fr. Bivan Rodrigues Mukhim SDB, Vice Provincial, who is currently at the Generalate, Sacro Cuore<\/em>, Rome, attending the Vice Provincials\u2019 Formation Meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Receiving the publication, the Rector Major expressed his appreciation for the initiative and the quality of the newsletter. He commended the Province for bringing out a publication that effectively highlights its plans, projects, and various activities. \u201cSuch efforts in communication are vital for building unity and sharing the richness of the Salesian mission,\u201d he remarked, encouraging the team to continue their good work with dedication and creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rector Major also acknowledged the efforts of the Newsline<\/em> team under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Joy Kachappilly SDB, Coordinator of the Social Communication Commission of the Province. He appreciated their hard work and commitment in ensuring that the newsletter is published on time and enriched with meaningful articles and news stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The copy was received in the presence of the Vicar of the Rector Major, Rev. Fr. Stefano Martoglio SDB, along with fifteen Vice Provincials from around the world who were gathered at the Generalate for the formation meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
