A historic and joyful moment unfolded at Don Bosco Socio Technical Institute (DBSTI), Tezpur on 16April 2026, as the institute celebrated the Graduation Day of its first PTT batch of 2026. The batch, which commenced on 15th<\/sup> January and concluded on 15th<\/sup> April 2026, saw 24 students, 2 male and 22 female, successfully complete their training, marking a significant milestone in the institute\u2019s journey.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The three-month programme, though seemingly long at its beginning, concluded all too quickly, culminating in the Final Teaching on 15th April. Truly embodying the spirit of Festina lente<\/em>\u2014\u201cgo fast by going slow\u201d\u2014the batch completed a transformative journey of learning and growth. This occasion stands out as a red-letter day in the annals of DBSTI, recording its highest number of PTT graduates in a single batch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The graduation ceremony was both inspiring and memorable. The Chief Guest, Pastor Obed Nag of Town Baptist Church, Tezpur, graced the occasion along with his wife, Smt. Binita Condpan Nag, Principal of Emmanuel Christian School, Mission Chariali, and their son, Jeremia Condpan, a differently abled Class VIII student of St. Mary\u2019s School, Teenmile. The family touched hearts with a soulful hymn, with young Jeremia impressively playing the keyboard using his unique hands. Addressing the graduates, Pastor Nag encouraged them with the words, \u201cNever fear your dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rev. Fr. Paul Rabha SDB, Director of DBSTI, warmly welcomed the gathering, setting a homely tone for the celebration. Representatives of the outgoing batch\u2014Sunita Indwar, Philumina Mwchahary, Sr. Rashmita Kerketta, Beauti Kandulana, and Nisha Ahmed\u2014shared heartfelt testimonies, describing the PTT programme as a deeply enriching and life-changing experience. They expressed sincere gratitude to the institute, calling it a place of continuous teaching and learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding to the significance of the day, Rev. Sr. Betsy, Superior of OSF Convent, Tezpur, reflected on her teaching experience with the batch and described the event as a moment of joy and fulfillment, especially as she had stepped in during the absence of Rev. Sr. Liz Maria OSF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The distribution of certificates was celebrated with vibrant Bihu music and dance, along with creative rhymes presented by the graduates, adding colour and cultural richness to the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Rev. Fr. Albert T. Sangma SDB, who fittingly remarked, \u201cLet me start again\u2026 refreshed,\u201d reminding all present of the new beginnings that lie ahead. As the Latin phrase goes, Scripta manent, verba volant<\/em>\u2014words may fade, but what is written and lived remains\u2014capturing the enduring impact of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
