Holy Family Parish, Rongjeng observed Good Friday on 03 April 2026 with deep devotion and solemnity through the Way of the Cross and a meaningful enactment of the Passion of Christ by the youth of the parish. A large number of Catholic faithful gathered to take part in the sacred service and meditate on the sufferings and death of Jesus Christ.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Rev. Fr. Pojit D. Marak was the main celebrant and led the Way of the Cross. In his sermon, Fr. Pojit reflected on the death of Jesus on the Cross as the greatest expression of love for humanity. He said that Jesus, in complete obedience to the will of the Father, embraced the Holy Cross and offered His life for the salvation of all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The enactment of the Way of the Cross by the youth helped the faithful to enter more deeply into the mystery of Christ\u2019s Passion and death. The moving scenes and prayerful atmosphere brought the congregation into a spirit of repentance, gratitude, and reverence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the celebration, the faithful paid respect to the Cross by venerating and kissing the Holy Cross, expressing their faith and love for the crucified Lord. The Good Friday observance at Holy Family Parish, Rongjeng concluded with a solemn and prayerful spirit, preparing the faithful to enter into the joy of Easter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
