    On Saturday, 25 October 2025, Rev Fr Abhilash Vadakkekara, SDB, and Rev Fr Jogesh B. Sangma, SDB, departed for Rome, Italy, to participate in the Annual Meeting of the Istituzioni Universitarie Salesiane (IUS)<\/strong>, the network of Salesian Institutions of Higher Education across the world.<\/h3>\n

    The IUS represents a global family of 97 institutions, with a community of around 8,175 professors serving more than 160,000 students in 21 countries. The annual gathering provides an important platform for members to share experiences, reflect on the Salesian educational mission in higher education, and chart new directions for collaboration and growth.<\/p>\n

    The Salesian Province extends its best wishes to both confreres as they represent the Province at this significant international forum. The Province hopes that their time in Rome will be fruitful and enriching, offering valuable insights and renewed inspiration for their service in the field of education.<\/p>\n

    Fr. Abhilash and Fr. Jogesh will be in Rome for two weeks, taking part in various sessions and discussions that strengthen the global Salesian commitment to integral human education.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
