    \n The players from Don bosco School, Kokrajhar along with the Pre-novitiate before the start of the friendly match to commemorate the Feast of St Dominic Savio. <\/p>\n

    In a spirit of deep faith and youthful enthusiasm, the Pre-Novices from Don Bosco Pre-Novitiate, Dotma, under the guidance of their Director, Rev. Fr. Joe Almeida, embarked on a meaningful one-day pilgrimage to Don Bosco Kokrajhar on 06th<\/sup> April 2025 to commemorate the Feast of St. Dominic Savio, a young saint known for his exemplary holiness and love for God.<\/h3>\n

    The day began with a solemn and spiritually enriching Holy Eucharistic Celebration held at the Don Bosco Parish Church in Kokrajhar. The Mass, presided over by Fr. Almeida, was marked by heartfelt participation, melodious hymns, and a vibrant atmosphere of devotion. In his homily, Fr. Almeida emphasized the relevance of St. Dominic Savio\u2019s life as a model of purity, commitment, and cheerful holiness, inspiring the young pre-novices to walk in the saint\u2019s footsteps.<\/p>\n

    Following the spiritual nourishment, the day took a dynamic turn with a friendly basketball match organized by Br. Paul Makri . The face-off between Don Bosco School Kokrajhar and the visiting Pre-Novitiate team from Dotma drew enthusiastic cheers from the sidelines, adding energy and color to the otherwise cloudy day. The match proved to be a display of sportsmanship, skill, and camaraderie. Despite the overcast skies, the players lit up the court with their passion. Don Bosco Pre-Novitiate clinched the victory with a lead of 5 baskets (43\/53), but the true triumph lay in the spirit of brotherhood that echoed throughout the game.<\/p>\n

    The chief guest of the event Fr. Emmanuel Marngar the Principal of Don Bosco School Kokrajhar, whose presence added grace to the celebration, commended both teams for their extraordinary performance, teamwork, and discipline on the court. He encouraged the young Salesians to continue nurturing both their spiritual and physical strengths.<\/p>\n

    The day concluded with a festive lunch hosted by the Don Bosco Kokrajhar community. The warm hospitality, lively conversations, and shared laughter over the meal strengthened the bonds between the two communities, making the occasion not just a celebration, but a cherished memory of unity in the Salesian family.<\/p>\n
