    The 8th Garo Women Convention of the Diocese of Diphu, held in conjunction with the \u201cJubilee for Women,\u201d concluded on 18th May 2025 at Mary Help of Christians Church, Satgaon Parish. The event came to a close with a festive Eucharistic celebration and the ceremonial lowering of the flag of the Diphu Diocese A.chik Women Association (DDAWA).<\/h3>\n

    Around 400 delegates from nine parishes across the Diocese gathered for the annual convention. The three-day event was centered on the theme: \u201cO woman, your faith is great! Let it be done for you as you desire\u201d (Matthew 15:28).<\/p>\n

    Key resource persons included Fr. Charles Sangma, Fr. Daniel Sangma, Sr. Silsila Marak, and Mrs. Merina Marak, Media Secretary of the Women\u2019s Regional Commission. Fr. Albert presided over the inaugural Mass, while Fr. Daniel Sangma was the principal celebrant at the concluding Eucharist.<\/p>\n

    Topics addressed during the sessions included \u201cPilgrims of Hope,\u201d \u201cDuties and Responsibilities of Mothers,\u201d \u201cMothers as Promoters of Education,\u201d \u201cWalking with Mary as Pilgrims,\u201d and \u201cWomen Empowerment.\u201d These thought-provoking reflections enriched the spiritual and practical understanding of the attendees.<\/p>\n

    Besides the daily Mass, participants engaged in spiritual activities such as the Rosary, Adoration, and Gospel Sharing. A highlight of the devotional moments was the Marian Procession held on the evening of 17th May (Saturday), which drew great reverence and\u00a0participation.<\/p>\n
