Rev Fr Bivan Rodriques Mukhim, Vice Provincial along with the ING brothers at Divyadaan, Nashik.
The Vice Provincial, Rev. Fr. Bivan Rodrigues Mukhim, and Rev. Fr. John Mathias M. Marak, Vocation Promoter of the Province, met with the Salesian brothers of Guwahati currently pursuing their philosophical studies at Divyadaan, Nashik on October 9, 2025. The visit was marked by fraternal warmth, spiritual encouragement, and joyful interaction.
Upon arrival, both were welcomed by Rev. Fr. Ivo Coelho, SDB, Rector of the Divyadaan community. Fr. Bivan Rodrigues Mukhim presided over the morning Holy Mass for the community, inspiring the brothers through his reflection on the first and second readings of the day.
During the interaction that followed, Fr. Bivan engaged the brothers of both Guwahati and Shillong Provinces in an open conversation, encouraging them to deepen their commitment to the Salesian way of life and to respond joyfully to the call of God. He encouraged them to pray for their vocation, to remain in fidelity to one’s vocation, and the importance of preparing for future ministry as Salesians.
The brothers expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the visit, noting that it had been quite some time since confreres from their home province had visited them. They shared that the presence of their superiors brought them encouragement and renewed joy in their formative journey.
The visit concluded on a positive and uplifting note, strengthening the bonds of fraternity and reminding the brothers that they remain close to the hearts and prayers of their province.
