On Friday, 4th April 2025, St. Dominic Savio Hr Sec School, Garobadha, celebrated its annual investiture ceremony during the assembly hour. The ceremony, a significant event for the school community, saw Dr. James T. Sangma, a past pupil of the school, as the Chief Guest. Reflecting on his time at the school, Dr. Sangma expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the guidance and teaching he received, stating, “I owe a depth of gratitude to the school for the guidance given to me.”
Rev. Fr. Punit Lakra SDB, the Principal of the school, warmly welcomed the Chief Guest and spoke highly of his achievements. Fr. Lakra emphasized how Dr. Sangma had utilized the opportunities the school provided to shape his successful journey in society.
The ceremony also saw the formal investiture of new leaders for the academic year, with the Chief Guest conferring responsibilities on the house captains, class monitors, vice monitors, and other student leaders.
