On 07 March 2025, Rev. Fr. Kunnappillil Thomas, SDB, was officially installed as the new Rector of Assam Don Bosco University, Azara community, in a simple yet meaningful ceremony held during the evening prayer service.
The installation ceremony was officiated by Rev. Fr. Bivan Rodrigues Mukhim, SDB, Vice Provincial, who was delegated by Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kuricheal, SDB, Provincial, currently attending the General Chapter 29 at Valdocco, Turin.
During the ceremony, Fr. Thomas made a profession of faith before God and the community members of the Assam Don Bosco University, Azara campus, who were present to witness this significant moment.
