Rev. Fr. Benjamin Daimari, SDB, Rector of Bosco Mount, and Rev. Fr. Vivek Lakra, SDB, from Don Bosco College, Diphu, are participating in a five-day training programme titled “Formation Towards Psychosexual Integration” held at Don Bosco Youth Centre, Koregaon Park, Pune.
The programme, running from 5 to 9 November 2025, includes a series of sessions led by expert Salesian formators such as Fr. Dinesh, Fr. Ian, Fr. Robert, Fr. Valerian, Fr. Ajoy, and Fr. Banz. Topics range from Celibacy and Prayer, Preventive System as a Spirituality, and Psycho-sexual Development to practical aspects like Addictions, Handling Conflicts, and Commitment for Life.
Participants also engage in group reflections, personal sharing, and sessions on preventive spirituality, designed to equip them to accompany young Salesians in formation more effectively and compassionately.
The sessions are being led by a panel of experienced Salesian resource persons, including Fr. Dinesh, Fr. Ian, Fr. Robert, Fr. Valerian, Fr. Ajoy, and Fr. Banz. The topics cover a wide range of essential themes such as Celibacy and Prayer, Personal Accompaniment, Preventive System as a Spirituality, Nuances of Psychosexual Development, Addictions, Handling Conflicts, Recovering from Sexual Wounds, and Commitment for Life.
The training aims to equip formatters with deeper understanding and pastoral tools for guiding young religious towards emotional maturity, responsible celibate living, and integral human development. The sessions also include moments of sharing, reflection, and recreation, fostering fraternity and mutual enrichment among the participants.
The programme will conclude on Sunday, 9 November 2025, with an evaluation and concluding session.
