CONCLUSION OF MISSIONARY MNTH AT DAMRA

Eighteen Parishes of the Archdiocese of Guwahati participated in the grand Eucharistic get together on 3rd November 2019 at Damra, Mother Parish of the region to give a fitting conclusion to the Missionary Month. The gathering was jointly organized by the Archdiocese of Guwahati and Damra Parish. Most Rev. John Moolachira, Archbishop off Guwahati presided over the celebration. Rev. Fr. K.O. Augustine, SDB, Rector and Parish Priest welcomed the large gathering of 2500 and narrated the history of the Damra Mission from its beginning in 1946 with Fr. Colzani as the Pioneer. Fr. Stadler, Fr. Busolin, Fr Curto, Fr A Victor were also great pioneers.
